Other Fees:

There is no customs clearing fee on correspondence for small parcels. Besides the fee for parcel itself based on weight, there are others fees you need to pay:

1. Registration fee: CNY 16
2. Fee for acknowledgement of receipt (optional): CNY 5
3. Insurance Value (optional): 1% of the amount declared and additional CNY 8 service charge. Please note that the maximum amount declared is CNY 10000. As some countries don’t support insured value services, please contact the local post offices to check.

Rule of Indemnity:

Please make sure to keep your credentials in case that your parcel is delayed or lost. Following are rules of indemnity for parcel losses.

1. For parcels not registered and insured, you can get no compensation for the loss. In general, those posting to countries like USA, UK, Canada, Germany and Australia have low probability of the package lost. However, there will be high chances of parcel lost if you post to those less developed countries or regions. So, you’d better to register and insure for your parcel.

2. For parcels registered but not insured, you can get the postage fee based on weight and a certain amount of money as compensation.

3. For insured parcels, you can get the postage fee based on weight and the amount declared. But for registration fee, service charge, customs clearing fee on correspondence and more are not refundable.
