Why is my tracking number invalid

Item ordered in December of 2020. The tracking number does not work. The company is refusing to refund my money in full

You can try to contact your bank or visa company to ask for a charge back.

USPS Tracking Number Invalid - YES

I'm not sure what this means "invalid"
