Why is my package stuck in customs?

I returned a purchase to AnnieCloth using the shipping label they supplied and all associated, detailed customs paperwork via Priority Mail International through USPS on Oct. 5. It shows it arrived at customs Oct 13. It has not moved out of customs in nearly a month. I contacted the merchant, AnnieCloth has asked that I contact the post office. I contacted USPS but its in Chinese customs so nothing they can do. What else can I do? Can you help? Tracking number CH145478249US

Hi Christi Kluzak,

It should be waiting for the receiver in China to declare to the customs now. You'd better contact the receiver in China to ask if he has received the notice from the customs. If no, let him check through authorized tax collection system (http://int.ems.com.cn/mailtax) to check or call China customs service number 12360 to check.
