why has my parcel been stuck at "ready for dispatch" for two weeks?

i ordered through a korean seller and they gave me this tracking no. RA208699093KR , i asked them how long my parcel will take to be shipped out and they said about 2 weeks, but it's been stuck on "ready for dispatch" for 2 weeks? ive never waited two weeks for a korea package to be shipped out and this is my first time using Korea Post Ems as well.

Hi chy,

It should have left China on Dec. 1 and is in transit to the US now. You can not know the exact situation when it's in the middle locations. It usually takes about 20-40 days (after it left China) to reach and there will be further update when it arrives. If you couldn't receive it within the promised time, please contact Korea Post to reflect the problem and get a solution.
