I am waiting a refund on a parcel that has been in GUANGZHOU customs since 22nd Feb 2020. it now says it is being retained by customs, please can you tell me how long the delay will be and if the recipient in China needs to do anything to get the parcel so i can get my refund.

The recipient in China should have received a notice about how to get it. You'd better contact the seller to ask. If not, they should contact the custom of Guangzhou to check it.
