What does "Departure" actually mean? In the air flying to my country??

Hi,
My package LY921349895CN is stuck in Airline Departure. A flight to the USA from China is just a certain number of hours. Does "Departure" mean it actually departed, and flying in the air to the USA - or is it a false phrase? When will it reach the USA considering its departure from China?

Hi Larry,

"Departure" doesn't mean it actually departed. It means it's still waiting for the flight. You'd better wait for more days to get update.
