Tracking Number Expired, where is my Package?

I sent a package from Shenzhen to the USA (Tracking Number: CP390196482CN) on 2021.09.29. The last update is on 2021.12.03 and says "delivered to carrier." The tracking number is now expired and I still do not have my package. I want to know where my package is.

It seemed like my package was stuck for nearly two months, and then finally made it to Shanghai air transport, but from there the tracking number expired.

Is it still on its way? Will the tracking number update once it gets to the U.S.?
