i am still waiting for the package, this seems crazy since I have ordered other packages in the mean time and they have arrived already. This package seems stuck in china, anything I can do to see its status?

It's not lost.It left China and is in transit to Switzerland now. You can not know the exact situation when it's in the middle locations. It usually takes about 30-60 days (after it left China) to reach and there will be further update when it arrives.I suggest you wait for another 15 days to see if there is any update showing it arrives in your country. If no, contact the seller to give you a solution in time.
