It was in Shenzhen on May 8 and the customs need the recipient to declare to customs on May 26. But the recipient doesn't do so. So, it's returned back now.

What does Import Stopped By Coustoms (inbound) Mean

Is a phone number or mobile number required on post address on parcel return to recipient if the postal address is correct. Thank You

Import Stopped By Customs (inbound) means it's returned back because the recipient doesn't declare to customs.

I'm not sure if your coutry require phone number for packages? If they could deliver to your address, it's not needed. In China, the phone number is a must. The postman needs to call the recipient to inform the package arrives and the recipient needs to pick up after receiving the call.

There is no use to contact the recipient in China now. It has arrived in Shanghai and delivered to the airport on July 23. It will be returned back to Austrlia.
