My package with tracking number EH027948155NL is apparently stuck in customs awaiting payment. I have not been contacted regarding this and I have no idea who else to contact as I have emailed plenty of people with no response.

Greetings. CH189275196US. Item is an AliExpress return--seller misrepresented the type of unit and it was agreed that I could return it at no cost. My parcel has been stuck at customs in Guangzhou for over two weeks. I was left a voice mail in Chinese, which I cannot speak. An online tracker states my item is stuck in customs awaiting tax payment. Is this something I am expected to pay? Is there an English language contact for me to resolve this with? My package arrived at customs in Chengdu, Sichuan on 4th December. It shows as 'awaiting duty payment' however I have not received any messages requesting the payment. It is now 6th December. I want to pay the duty and receive the item, but how can I pay the duty without receiving a message?

How long will it take to receive a message requesting the payment? Is there a way to pay the duty without receiving a message from customs first?
