Sending ebike battery to New Zealand

Ni hao. I am in China and want to send an ebike Li ion battery to New Zealand. I understand it will need to go by surface post. How do I package it? I want to send it from Shaanxi Rd or Fuxing Road Post office in Shanghai.
The dimensions are : Length 30cm, Width 12cm, depth 8cm. Weight 2.7kg.

Hi John,

Different post office may have different requirements. You'd better go to the post office to ask if they could deliver it to you and how to pack it.
