Returned Package stuck in Customs in Souzhou

I purchased a duvet set from an English retailer that I was unaware was to be delivered from China. The goods arrived on 28.4.24 and were unsuitable. I, therefore, returned the items by Royal Mail on 7 May 24 and have been tracking and chasing ever since. The parcel has not yet been returned to the supplier, being stuck in Customs in Souzhou. I now know that I should have been advised by the Post Office that a completed customs form should have been attached to the parcel, which it was not as unaware. I suspect this is why the parcel is still noted as held in customs when I track it. My problem is how do I rectify this with Chinese customs to enable return and refund to the supply. Any advice/help very gratefully received please.

I returned 2 packages to the following address but they have been stuck in customs since 10/31/25. The USPO tracking #s LZ317218464US and LZ317218671US. How will I know when they are out of customs? I cannot get my refund until the packages are delivered to this address:

Hello,
My returned package is stuck at customs for over a month now. Aliexpress promised to pay for the return shipment but isn't responding anymore. Is it possible that the package can be returned to me? What must I do to get it back? Now I have no item, no money back, and also no more trust in Aliexpress. So I hope I can get the package back. Thanks in advance for your help and advice.
