Hello all, How long customs at Guangzhou take to clear customs? My return package to the seller has been stuck since March 11th? Thank you

Hi MCC,

It should be released by the customs in a week if there is no problem for it. To my experience, it should be waiting for the receiver in China to declare to the customs now. You'd better contact the receiver in China to ask if he has received the notice from the customs. If no, let him check through authorized tax collection system (http://int.ems.com.cn/mailtax) to check or call China customs service number 12360 to check.

Greetings. CH189275196US. Item is an AliExpress return--seller misrepresented the type of unit and it was agreed that I could return it at no cost. My parcel has been stuck at customs in Guangzhou for over two weeks. I was left a voice mail in Chinese, which I cannot speak. An online tracker states my item is stuck in customs awaiting tax payment. Is this something I am expected to pay? Is there an English language contact for me to resolve this with? Thank you very much.
