I sent a package to China from Turkey recently, but after shipping it, I realized that the contents might not comply with Chinese local regulations. The tracking currently shows 'The item was forwarded to the destination country (Otb),' but I’m uncertain whether the package has entered China or is still in transit.

What are the typical procedures in such cases? If the package arrives in China and the contents are flagged, is it common for it to simply be returned to the sender? Does submitting a return request indicate that I was trying to proactively address the situation?
