Parcel stuck at customs

Hello, my parents sent me a package as a gift from the Czech Republic through post office. The overall value (not price) is around 6000 RMB. The worker behind the desk told us that the limit is 1000RMB and that we cannot take the package with us. The only two options are to return the package or use an agent such as DHL. What is really strange is that 2 months ago my parents sent me almost the same package with almost the same value. THis package arrived to our door and everything was fine. I dont understand what is the problem now. Furthermore, DHL told us that we need to solve it with EMS. The package number is CV004898411CZ.
