Parcel held at customs in Guangzhou for 5 weeks

Parcel RN804648565GB. Please advise on any information about the parcel. It has been at customs for 5 weeks. I didn't write the receiver's phone number on the parcel. Is it a problem?
The parcel contains a small and faulty teapot. I am returning it to the company Umi Teapots that sold it to me.
