Package sent to China has been stuck in Beijing for a while- EB058780185BR

Hello, I've sent a gift to a friend who lives in China and the package has been stuck in Beijing for quite a long time and the info I get when I track is the following:
"应地方防疫要求，邮件消毒、静置
Beijing"
How long does it usually take to get out of the customs? Or how would I know if I have to pay some kind of tariff or tax in order for the product to be liberated from the customs? I tried calling my local postal service company and they can't give me any info. I don't speak Chinese, so I'm unable to do anything of the sort and get the details or info I need. I'm afraid there might be some issues with the package and being unable to do anything to solve it. How would I know if there's a problem with my package or if I need to pay for anything?

It turns out you were spot on. It took exactly ten days to under disinfection. But now I'm quite worried about the parcel and I get different results depending on the site I use to track it. One being:
Beijing Municipality, delivered to the Import Customs
and the other:
CHINA, Object in transit - please wait, from Country in CHINA to Unit in Customs/Custom Tax / BR

Does that mean the package was rejected and it's now going back to Brazil?

The mail disinfection has been finished. Here is the tracking information available. You'd better let the receiver in China call China Post service number to further check if it's normal.
