Package now in newyork but no update?

Package CP414413630CN
says it arrived in newyork and it says "arrived at place of arrival" but that is not where it is meant to be. Why has usps not been updated? Usps still says that is is preparing to be shipped from china. Help

It has been got by USPS on August 6. They will process it and deliver it to you recently.
