package in China but should be in Greece

I sent a package to Chania, Crete, Greece, EU. The package as been taken to China by mistake. The tracking number is RN496073334GB . Tracking now says it is now in Shanghai, how does it get to Greece.

Since my last enquiry the tracking service has gone cold, other than to say that on the 31st of August it was on a outbound flight from Shanghai. I would like to know who would be the carrier in this case and do they have a tracking system. Also will it likely be returned to UK or continue its journey to its intended destination to Crete.
