Package being held by customs

My package is being held at the customs since July 22nd and I would like to know the possible date for the release.

Hi Mor,

They should be waiting for the receiver in China to declare to the customs now. You'd better contact the receiver in China to ask if he has received the notice from the customs. If no, let him check through authorized tax collection system (http://int.ems.com.cn/mailtax) to check.

Any help is appreciated. My package with tracking CH214207080US has been held in customs since the 29th and hasn't moved. Is there an issue or is it just a waiting period for the customs to clear? It is an item being sent back to the company for repair. Have asked the recipient and they have not been contacted by customs.
