Postal fee was $27.75, but the package was sent to China instead of Taiwan which was written on the form I filled out. It was mailed on 11/17/2020 and went to China Beijing on 11/22/2020 which I just found out yesterday. It's 12/17/2020 today and I just checked my receipt yesterday to realize that it went to China. No wonder my mother hasn't got the package. I spent 2 months making the two dresses for her Christmas gift and now she won't ever see those dresses because of the stupid mistake that the postal worker made and I didn't catch it sooner. Is there anything can be done to find the package or just kiss it goodbye? I'm afraid that the people in China are not honorable people and it will be gone forever.

I am planning to send 2 large boxes of used clothes to the US by surface this week. I have several questions.
1. Can I go get a box from China Post and package the things at home?
2. Can I also pick up the form I should fill out to send the package?
3. I read that a China Post worker can come to my apartment to pick up the package. Do I pay the worker for the cost to send the package?
4. Can I pay with wechat or alipay or should I have paper money?
5. After the worker takes the package, is there anything else I need to do?
6. I read the list of items I can not send. Is there any other important things for having a worker pick up the package from my apartment?

Hi, I sent a package from USA to a friend in Taiwan on 12/07. CH084853487US is my tracking number. It has taken an odd route, usually passing through Tokyo, then to Taiwan. This time, it landed in Shanghai 3-4 days ago. Although I put Taiwan as the destination, I now see the postal worker typed in “China”, which is a different location (PRC) from the ROC. I’m worried what will happen now. Will my package be forwarded to Taiwan? The address that is handwritten by me is correct, but now I think the post office typed it in wrong.
