Hello, my family is moving to Japan and I want to ship several large boxes with clothes and houseware; maybe it will be around 10 boxes. The boxes will be around 20kg-30kg; what is the best way to ship this and what would be the costs? Thanks.
You can try to find a express company helping you send the boxes by using China Post large package service. Or, you can go to the post office directly to send it. Weight limit for each package is 20kg to Japan.
Here is the price for your reference. Exact price will be based on the latest quotation of China Post office.
By air: 124.2 RMB for the first 1kg and 29.6RMB for each additional 1kg.
Via SAL: 110.9 RMB for the first 1kg and 16.3RMB for each additional 1kg.
Via Surface: 108 RMB for the first 1kg and 13.4RMB for each additional 1kg.
