lost package sent in July 2020

My friend sent a package full of my personal stuff in July 2020 to my Hungarian address more than six months ago. Also she sent three other packages, all of them to different Hungarian addresses, but none of them arrived. One of the delivery number is CP413732566CN.
When I track the number, it says it was delivered to an address in Shanghai last July and haven't been moving since. My friend either did not get the packages back, nor got any message that they cannot be delivered, it has just simply been declared 'delivered'. We have been waiting for any further info, we know the situation going on now makes the waiting time longer, but 4 of our packages have never arrived, so we would need compensation for them.

If you and your friend are both not in Shanghai. You can't get the package and send it again.

I don't want to send them "again". I already payed for the service once, and I did not get them. Why should I pay for it again, or go after them by myself, if the post office was the one lost my package? We did not get any notice that they can not be delivered, not since we delivered them. It just got lost, even that we had our phone number on the package, no one bothered to call us.
We have been patient for a long time now, so I would appriciate if someone could give us real help.

Never had any problem with the service until now, and I don't understand how is it possible for four big packages to simply get lost under the supervision of China Post?
In case you can't give me further information, could you provide me a phone number which I can call to enquire about the status of my package?

I already tried calling the number, it's on this website with big letters. However I am not able to discuss it in Chinese, that's why I opened this question, to get help. I assumed this website is a alternative to international costumers, but I don't feel your intentions to help me, you just reciting the mantra I already know.

I don't think it's legal, because if it was delivered, it happened without notifying the person who sent the parcel, or identiyfing the person, who took our package. It's more problematic since it was clear that the parcel was destined to be delivered to another country.

Sorry, we are only a tracking platform to help you track the packages for free. We don't provide other services. It was delivered to the mail room in Shanghai according to the tracking information. The postman tried to deliver it to the origin address on July 16, but the receiver couldn't be get connected. So, they are placed at the mail room now.

Thank you. I have 2 more questions, and those are gonna be my last, if you can answer them. What happens to the packages in the mail room? (are they gonna try to deliver it again to hungary? (I payed for the service once, so that is the logical step.) And how can I reach them?

It will not be delivered it again to hungary but will be placed there. It's hard for you to reach them as you are not in Shanghai now. They may deal with it bythemselves if no one to pick it up for a long time.

You need to let your friend go to the post office where he sent it to check what happens to the package. The Post office will compensate him if it's lost.
