Item stopped by customs

Hi there

I returned a package to China (from Australia) tracking number LK117443840AU.

I sent it on the 19th of March 2021 and I have just seen that is it saying 'Import stopped by Customs (Inbound)' What does this mean?? Can this parcel please be taken to the address on the item, I purchased this item and it was defective hence posting it back for a refund.
I have a PayPal dispute open and it will close soon if the item isn’t returned and don’t want to lose my money.

Hi Daniel Rond,

It should be waiting for the receiver in China to declare to the customs now. You'd better contact the receiver in China to ask if he has received the notice from the customs. If no, let him check through authorized tax collection system (http://int.ems.com.cn/mailtax) to check or call China customs service number 12360 to check.

Item Stopped by Customs (Inbound) not moved for last month, please assist (1 reply)

Parcel tracking number: LK117293805AU
Is an item of clothing that didn't fit that I returned to the seller in China. It was sent on 17th March 2021, and arrived in China on 28th March. It sat from 28th March until 11th of may when it arrived at facility. It was then marked "Import stopped by Customs (Inbound)" on 11th May and has not moved since. The tracking number now says "expired". What can I do to get the item to be delivered to the seller so that I can get a refund?

Hi there

I returned a package of clothing to China (from Australia) tracking number CF137326198AU.

I sent it on the 20th November 2020 and I have just seen that is it saying 'Import stopped by Customs (Inbound)' What does this mean?? Can this parcel please be taken to the address on the item, It was clothing purchased from China online, that were completely not as pictured hence posting it back from a refund. The company is aware of this and it has now been 2 months and it is still not at its destination.
