Is the sending of electronic devices such as cellphones permitted?

|

Hello
1. I would like to ask if it's possible to send electronic devices such as phones or laptops by post.
2. I would also like to ask about sending a parcel to a country such as Lesotho. When it has arrived in Lesotho, will the receiver be notified and told to collect the parcel?
Thank you

Hi Mokhele Mokhothu,

China Post couldn't deliver electronic devices that contain batteries. You'd better send by DHL or UPS.

The delivery time is based on the way you sent the item. By air is the fast way which may takes 15-30 days. They will deliver it to your address.

Shipping electronics to Canada: process, cost, duties, time? (1 reply)

Hello,

I hope you are doing well.

I am interested in shipping electronic devices from China to Canada, including mobile phones, computer motherboards, and other electronic components.

I would like to know:

What is the procedure to ship these types of electronic devices?

Are there any restrictions for phones or motherboard shipments?

What documents are required (commercial invoice, MSDS, etc.)?

What are the approximate shipping costs?

What are the estimated delivery times to Canada?

How are customs duties and taxes handled?

Do you offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) service?

Please let me know the best shipping method for electronics and whether batteries inside devices create any special requirements.
