Is China Post EMS shipping to the United States?

I bought an item from a seller in China that said they are not allowed to ship the item by EMS and I would have to pay higher shipping cost for a different shipping method. The seller was told that EMS is not shipping to the United States. Is this true as of 7/8/2020?

Hello,
I ordered a guitar from alibaba and dhgate and both said that it was not possible at this time to have it shipped to hawaii from china because of the closure of custom offices in the usa.
Is this still the situation?

EMS could ship to US now. It may not available in some cities in China at present. I don't suggest you use EMS. Most of them are delayed (30-60 day delivery). It's not fast. If the seller would you like other ways to ship and could guarantee you could receive it in few days, that's worth it.
