How to pay for a dutiable item

Hi! I have send a parcel to China.
EW152898198FR
The tracking indicates that it is in a Sorting Center with a status "Dutiable item, Waiting for Payment".
Me and the recipient of the parcel didn't receive any payment information. How should we proceed?

Hi Alexandra,

In this case, it's waiting for the receiver to pay the tax. The receiver should have received the notice from the customs. You'd better also notice the receiver to do that.

The receiver did not get any notice till now. Is it possible to get a payment notice via mail and to pay on internet?
