How long should package be in sorting centre in destination city?

|

I've sent parcels before and it is usually in the sorting centre for a day.

However, this time it has been 5 days and it is still stuck in the sorting centre, I'm worried it might be stuck/lost there.

Thanks!

I should note: I sent from the UK to Shenzhen. It is currently in the Shenzhen Exchange Bureau (深圳互换局) for 5 days.

Hi Restive,

You'd better wait for another 7 days to see. If it's still stuck there, there should be problem for the address. You need to let the receiver contact China Post (call 11183) to reflect the problem and get a solution as soon as possible.

Hi Daisy,
There should be no problem with the address because I've sent parcels to this address twice before. The address is also written in English and Chinese.

Is there any other reason for it to be stuck in the sorting centre?

my package stuck in regional sorting centre (3 replies)

hi, my tracking number is: LH196798202US. last update was 5th May, 'departure from Regional Sorting Centre, Shanghai City, China'. It is now 18th May and there is no update. The destination is Singapore, the address is correct and it includes the word 'Singapore' with a Singapore postal code. But the seller wrongly indicates 'China' as destination country somewhere in the package. Please if you could tell me what's happening to my package and what can I do to move it. Thank you.

Stuck at regional sorting centre (1 reply)

My package (tracking number LZ367562743CN) has been stuck at the regional sorting centre in Shanghai since the 12th of October - It's now the 28th. I completely understand that corona is slowing down shipping times, and with lower amounts of staff, it may take longer for it to be sorted. I'm mainly asking this question for reassurance that my parcel hasn't been lost and is still on its way, however long that may take. If you can offer up any more information about how long it may take that would be fabulous.
Thanks,
Max
