You need to contact the courier in Taiwan to change the address once it arrives in Taiwan.

Hi, I sent a package from USA to a friend in Taiwan on 12/07. CH084853487US is my tracking number. It has taken an odd route, usually passing through Tokyo, then to Taiwan. This time, it landed in Shanghai 3-4 days ago. Although I put Taiwan as the destination, I now see the postal worker typed in “China”, which is a different location (PRC) from the ROC. I’m worried what will happen now. Will my package be forwarded to Taiwan? The address that is handwritten by me is correct, but now I think the post office typed it in wrong.
