Hand over to airline, HK

Hi, my package hasn't had any updates since May 6th. It's shipping to Canada and the tracking code's last update is "Hand over to airline" in Hong Kong. Does this mean it's still in Hong Kong, or is on the way to Canada? Singapore Post's site says Information Received - item on route to postal facility. When I checked Cainiao tracking it says it's enroute to the destination country. Help?

Thanks Daisy! So it didn't go through Singapore, or it already went through but didn't update the tracking?

Hi Jessie,
It's already in Singapore. And the latest tracking information shows '2020-07-01 14:31 CAYTO, Despatched to overseas'. It means SingPost has already found a flight and scheduled the package for shipment to Canada. There will be update when it arrives.

Thank you again! With that being said, does this mean I can expect an update fairly soon, or is it only scheduled to leave but actually hasn't left yet? I have seen some people's tracking codes which haven't been updated in weeks despite the last update saying dispatched to overseas. Thank you
It's en route to Canada now. There will be update when it arrives in Canada. You'd better wait for another 20 days to see. It's delayed due to the coronavirus.
