Flight departure since the 08/16

Hello Madam, Hello Sir,

I hope you are well. I am contacting you today because my package has not changed status (flight departure) since 08/16. Is this normal?

Hi quenzine,

It's normal. Airline departs on August 16. It usually takes about 20-40 days to have update showing it arrives in France after airline departs. You'd better wait for more days to get update. If there is no update in two months, you need to contact the seller to get a solution as soon as possible.

Ok, thank you for the answer. So, to be precise, the "Flight departure" status is that my package is on a flight or is waiting for a flight in China?

"Flight departure" status means it's waiting for a flight in China.

I had a package sent to me on April 14th, through China EMS. It was collected on the 15th and despatched to the UK on the 17th, however the tracking site I was provided with and my local couriers tracking both have no updated since. Hi, my package has been showing 'Flight Departure' or 'Cleared and awaiting international departure' for 6 weeks now. Is it lost and should I call China Post or the seller?
