enquiring about posting a large flat parcel to Australia

Dear China Post
I would like to send a large flat parcel to Australia and am wondering what the size and weight restrictions are and whether I should make my parcel two smaller ones or one large one if it is cheaper.
It is approx 90 cm X 60 cm and 10 cm thick.
I am able to make the parcel smaller, so does it make a difference to the cost if the dimensions are smaller but the weight is still the same?
Whci post office would you recommend I send my parcel from in Chengdu?
Can I also send it from Guang han?
many thanks Jan Palethorpe

Greatest dimension should be less than 1.05 meters and the length + width should be less than 2 meters for a large parcel from China to Australia. The weight limit is 20kg.
If it's not exceed the size restriction, you'd better send as one. If you divide it into two, the weight will be much heavier than that as one. Thus, you will spend more.
You can go to one of the largest post offices around you to deliver.
