EMS issue

My package has been stuck in the same status since Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019. I specifically chose China EMS (ePacket) because it's a faster shipping service than China post regular mailing. But I realize EMS and Chinapost are the same company that's why I'm here asking a question Can you figure out why it's taking a long time, please?

It left China on October 22 and en route to the US now. EMS to US usually takes about 10-20 working days to be delivered. There will be further update when it's in the US.

Can you tell me where this package is and how long it will will take. It has been at Guangzhou sorting Since 24 October.

It left China on October 25 and is en route to UK now. It usually takes about 20-40 days to be delivered.
