57 days in transit (what’s happening to my parcel)?

|

I ordered 3 items back in March (23rd March) and was given my tracking number: LH808763805CN. It’s been 2 months since I ordered and I haven’t received my parcel and according to Aus Post it was “cleared and awaiting international departure” on the 28 March but China Post it said was “handed over to airlines” on the 30 March. My parcel has been in transit for 57 days and I thought it was lost but according to my sender they said it is delayed to killing(disinfecting) imported mail. Are you able to help me?

Hi Vivian,

e-packet is slow at present. It usually takes about 40-80 days to be delivered to Australia. There will be update when it arrives. You'd better wait for more days to get update.

Usually once the parcel has been delivered to the airline. It means that the parcel has left but there is another update saying that it's heading to the international centre. Very confusing. What is happening to my parcel at this moment in time?
